Supreme x Nike x NBA Teams Air Force 1 Mid
Supreme vs. Original

About the original
The Nike Air Force 1 was designed by Bruce Kilgore and introduced in 1982 as the first Nike basketball shoe to use Nike Air cushioning — a pressurized-gas heel unit that Kilgore sank into a full-length rubber cup-sole. The Mid version adds a higher padded ankle collar with an adjustable velcro strap. Nike was founded in 1964 in Eugene, Oregon, by Bill Bowerman and Phil Knight as Blue Ribbon Sports. The SS2018 Supreme three-way collab with the NBA featured a premium leather upper printed with all 30 NBA team logos across the panels, released March 8, 2018, in white and black colorways with an embroidered Supreme tongue patch. It retailed at $165 against Nike's stock AF1 Mid at $115.
About Nike
Nike is an American sportswear corporation founded in 1964 as Blue Ribbon Sports by track coach Bill Bowerman and runner Phil Knight in Eugene, Oregon, and renamed Nike in 1971. The Swoosh was designed that same year by graphic design student Carolyn Davidson for thirty-five dollars. Bowerman prototyped the Cortez and the waffle-sole Moon Shoe, and the Air Max line, introduced in 1987, made Tinker Hatfield's visible-air midsole a signature. Nike now produces footwear and apparel across running, basketball, football, and training, and owns Jordan Brand and Converse. Supreme has collaborated with Nike repeatedly since 2002 across Air Force 1, Air Max, and Dunk.
