The Nike Blazer debuted in 1972 as one of Nike's first basketball shoes, named for the Portland Trail Blazers, and was rebuilt for skateboarding as the Nike SB Blazer in 2005 with a padded tongue, vulcanized sole, and a Zoom Air insole. Supreme's first Blazer collaboration arrived April 21, 2006 in red, white, and black, with quilted leather panels, a faux-snakeskin Swoosh, gold stitching and D-ring hardware, and a debossed leather tongue tag. Supreme and Nike SB would not revisit the silhouette again until 2022. Nike continues to make the SB Zoom Blazer Mid, which lists around $95 today.
