Supreme x Nike Shox Ride 2
Supreme vs. Original

About the original
The Nike Shox Ride 2 is a running-derived sneaker built around Nike Shox technology: four hollow polymer foam columns in the heel that compress and rebound under load. Nike Shox was developed over sixteen years by designers Bruce Kilgore and Tobie Hatfield and introduced to retail in 2000 with the BB4 basketball shoe worn by Vince Carter at the Sydney Olympics. The Shox Ride 2 silhouette pairs the column-spring heel with a breathable mesh and synthetic leather upper, a full-length Phylon foam midsole, and a rubber outsole. The SS22 Supreme collab releases in four colorways (black, red, white, olive) with co-branded tongue tabs and heel details and a $158 Supreme retail.
About Nike
Nike is an American sportswear corporation founded in 1964 as Blue Ribbon Sports by track coach Bill Bowerman and runner Phil Knight in Eugene, Oregon, and renamed Nike in 1971. The Swoosh was designed that same year by graphic design student Carolyn Davidson for thirty-five dollars. Bowerman prototyped the Cortez and the waffle-sole Moon Shoe, and the Air Max line, introduced in 1987, made Tinker Hatfield's visible-air midsole a signature. Nike now produces footwear and apparel across running, basketball, football, and training, and owns Jordan Brand and Converse. Supreme has collaborated with Nike repeatedly since 2002 across Air Force 1, Air Max, and Dunk.
