About the original
The Supreme/Nike Sweater Vest is a V-neck pullover sweater vest knit from a merino wool blend, with ribbed V-neck, armholes, and hem. An embroidered Nike Swoosh sits at the lower front right hem; a jacquard-knit Nike co-branded logo appears on the back. Nike was founded in Eugene, Oregon in 1964 by Bill Bowerman and Phil Knight as Blue Ribbon Sports and renamed Nike in 1971. This was the opening piece of Supremes SS25 Nike apparel capsule, released March 20, 2025 at $128 retail in black, red, and yellow alongside matching Nike hooded sweatshirts, sweatpants, and a six-panel cap. Nike produces the vest to Supreme specification with the co-branded jacquard back logo; Nike does not sell a standalone merino sweater vest with the same construction.
About Nike
Nike is an American sportswear corporation founded in 1964 as Blue Ribbon Sports by track coach Bill Bowerman and runner Phil Knight in Eugene, Oregon, and renamed Nike in 1971. The Swoosh was designed that same year by graphic design student Carolyn Davidson for thirty-five dollars. Bowerman prototyped the Cortez and the waffle-sole Moon Shoe, and the Air Max line, introduced in 1987, made Tinker Hatfield's visible-air midsole a signature. Nike now produces footwear and apparel across running, basketball, football, and training, and owns Jordan Brand and Converse. Supreme has collaborated with Nike repeatedly since 2002 across Air Force 1, Air Max, and Dunk.
