About the original

The Nike Vapor Jet 4.0 football gloves are receiver gloves engineered for maximum ball-catch surface area, built around a Magnigrip silicone-textured palm that spans from fingertip to wrist, breathable mesh paneling across the back of the hand for heat and moisture management, and a flexible shell that follows natural hand movement. The low-profile hook-and-loop wrist closure lets players fit them under a jersey cuff. Nike's Vapor Jet line has been worn by wide receivers and running backs at NFL, NCAA, and youth levels since its introduction in the mid-2010s, and the 4.0 generation retails for $35. Supreme's FW18 edition applies box logo and Swoosh graphics on the palm and cuff, retailing at $60.

About Nike

Nike is an American sportswear corporation founded in 1964 as Blue Ribbon Sports by track coach Bill Bowerman and runner Phil Knight in Eugene, Oregon, and renamed Nike in 1971. The Swoosh was designed that same year by graphic design student Carolyn Davidson for thirty-five dollars. Bowerman prototyped the Cortez and the waffle-sole Moon Shoe, and the Air Max line, introduced in 1987, made Tinker Hatfield's visible-air midsole a signature. Nike now produces footwear and apparel across running, basketball, football, and training, and owns Jordan Brand and Converse. Supreme has collaborated with Nike repeatedly since 2002 across Air Force 1, Air Max, and Dunk.
