Supreme x The North Face Expedition Fleece Jacket
Supreme vs. Original

About the original
The North Face Denali Fleece Jacket is a Polartec 300-series fleece midlayer first introduced in 1988 as expedition-grade insulation for TNF-sponsored climbing teams. Construction uses 100% recycled Polartec fleece with reinforced Nylex overlays at the chest, shoulders, and elbows, a full-length front zip, and TNF's zip-in compatibility system for use with DryVent or GORE-TEX shells. The North Face was founded in 1966 in San Francisco by Doug Tompkins and Kenneth Klopp, and the Denali became one of the brand's longest-running apparel programs. The FW2018 Supreme collab adds box-logo embroidery and collab-exclusive colorways to the stock Denali shell. It retailed at $298 against TNF's $200 standard Denali.
About The North Face
The North Face is an American outdoor apparel and equipment company founded in 1966 by Douglas and Susie Tompkins as a mountaineering retail store in San Francisco's North Beach neighborhood. The company introduced the Sierra down parka in 1968 and the geodesic Oval Intention tent in 1975, and its Nuptse down jacket, released in 1992, is named for the 7,861-meter Himalayan peak. The brand now produces the Summit Series, Steep Tech, and Denali fleece lines under VF Corporation ownership. Supreme and The North Face have run one of streetwear's longest ongoing collaborations, releasing seasonal capsules each spring and fall since 2007.
