Supreme x The North Face Leather Roo II Lumbar Pack
Supreme vs. Original

Original — The North Face
Roo II Lumbar Pack
About the original
The North Face Roo II Lumbar Pack is a 3-liter waist pack with a zippered main compartment, a front stash pocket, and an adjustable waist strap, designed for light trail use and everyday carry of a water bottle, phone, and packable shell. The Roo II has been a recurring piece in The North Face's bag line since the 2010s. The FW2017 Supreme collab version is constructed from full-grain cowhide leather rather than the standard ripstop nylon, with a co-branded Supreme/TNF debossed logo on the front panel. It was part of the broader FW17 leather-and-collage capsule and retailed at $148.
About The North Face
The North Face is an American outdoor apparel and equipment company founded in 1966 by Douglas and Susie Tompkins as a mountaineering retail store in San Francisco's North Beach neighborhood. The company introduced the Sierra down parka in 1968 and the geodesic Oval Intention tent in 1975, and its Nuptse down jacket, released in 1992, is named for the 7,861-meter Himalayan peak. The brand now produces the Summit Series, Steep Tech, and Denali fleece lines under VF Corporation ownership. Supreme and The North Face have run one of streetwear's longest ongoing collaborations, releasing seasonal capsules each spring and fall since 2007.
