Supreme x The North Face Metallic Roo II Lumbar Pack
Supreme vs. Original

Original — The North Face
Roo II Lumbar Pack
About the original
The North Face Roo II Lumbar Pack is a 3-liter waist pack with a zippered main compartment, a front stash pocket, a padded back panel, and an adjustable hip strap for hands-free carry on hikes or daily errands. The Roo II has been a recurring piece in The North Face's bag line since the 2010s, sized to fit a water bottle, phone, wallet, and a packable shell. The SS2018 Metallic Supreme collab applied a gold, silver, or rose-gold metallic finish to the nylon shell, with printed co-branded logos on the front panel. It retailed at $68 against a standard Roo II MSRP of around $35, with all three metallic colorways selling through the week of release.
About The North Face
The North Face is an American outdoor apparel and equipment company founded in 1966 by Douglas and Susie Tompkins as a mountaineering retail store in San Francisco's North Beach neighborhood. The company introduced the Sierra down parka in 1968 and the geodesic Oval Intention tent in 1975, and its Nuptse down jacket, released in 1992, is named for the 7,861-meter Himalayan peak. The brand now produces the Summit Series, Steep Tech, and Denali fleece lines under VF Corporation ownership. Supreme and The North Face have run one of streetwear's longest ongoing collaborations, releasing seasonal capsules each spring and fall since 2007.
