Base Camp Duffel - Small
About the original
The North Face Base Camp Duffel - Small is a 50-liter travel bag built from water-resistant, tear-resistant fabric with a D-zip opening, internal mesh pocket, webbing handles, and convertible shoulder and backpack straps. The North Face was founded in 1966 in San Francisco's North Beach as a climbing equipment retailer, and the Base Camp Duffel has been in continuous production in various materials since the 1980s. It is standard issue among expedition guides and sold in multiple sizes from extra-small to extra-large. The FW23 collab version replaces the standard fabric with full-grain suede and adds nylon lining, embossed logos, and utility webbing bands. The standard Base Camp Duffel - Small retails for $175.
About The North Face
The North Face is an American outdoor apparel and equipment company founded in 1966 by Douglas and Susie Tompkins as a mountaineering retail store in San Francisco's North Beach neighborhood. The company introduced the Sierra down parka in 1968 and the geodesic Oval Intention tent in 1975, and its Nuptse down jacket, released in 1992, is named for the 7,861-meter Himalayan peak. The brand now produces the Summit Series, Steep Tech, and Denali fleece lines under VF Corporation ownership. Supreme and The North Face have run one of streetwear's longest ongoing collaborations, releasing seasonal capsules each spring and fall since 2007.
