About the original

Foam rubber nunchucks are a training and display version of the Okinawan martial arts weapon, consisting of two padded-foam handles connected by a short chain or cord — engineered to be safe for practice and novelty use rather than functional combat. The foam format traces to dojo training tools used to reduce strike injuries during drills, and the novelty version became widespread in the United States after Bruce Lee's films put nunchucks into global pop culture in the early 1970s. In New York, actual nunchucks were illegal to own until a federal court struck down the ban in 2018. The FW2010 Supreme version adds a box logo to an unbranded foam novelty item that retails for under $9.

About Unbranded

Some Supreme accessories are produced without a disclosed manufacturing partner, using generic or custom-sourced items as the base product. In these cases the original manufacturer is either contractually undisclosed, sold under a house brand by the original supplier, or assembled from components without a single branded origin. Examples include items where Supreme applies its logo to a stock product category rather than collaborating with a named maker. For catalog purposes these entries are grouped as Unbranded, with product type and specifications documented where verifiable even when the OEM is not public.
