About the original
A standard red clay brick measuring 8.25 by 4 by 2.25 inches, with the Supreme box logo debossed into one face. Red clay bricks of this dimension are the basic structural unit of American masonry, produced at scale by kilns across the country and sold for roughly a dollar at any building supply store. Supreme released the brick as part of the Fall/Winter 2016 accessories collection at $30 retail, sold out almost immediately, and saw resale prices on the secondary market exceed $1,000 during peak demand. The object is functionally identical to any other clay brick of the same spec. The logo is the entire product differentiation.
