Supreme x ORTLIEB Small Messenger Bag
Supreme vs. Original

Supreme version
About the original
The Supreme x ORTLIEB Small Messenger Bag is a co-branded crossbody built with ORTLIEB, the German manufacturer founded by Hartmut Ortlieb in Nuremberg in 1982 and known for waterproof bags constructed from welded PVC-coated polyester. ORTLIEB's standard Messenger Bag uses a roll-top closure with magnetic side fasteners, but Supreme's SS24 cut is a smaller hobo-style crossbody with a zippered main compartment rather than the roll-top. The body fabric is the same heat-welded waterproof material ORTLIEB uses across the bicycle-pannier line, with reflective branding on the front and an adjustable woven shoulder strap. Released in multiple colorways. ORTLIEB's own Messenger Bag and Velocity backpack remain available through ortlieb.com and bicycle retailers worldwide.
About ORTLIEB
Ortlieb Sportartikel is a German waterproof bag manufacturer founded on April 1, 1982, by Hartmut Ortlieb in Nuremberg, and headquartered in Heilsbronn since 1997. The founder, a cyclist frustrated by wet gear on tour, produced the first panniers by hand from truck tarpaulin. In 1984 Ortlieb introduced high-frequency seam welding, which fuses PVC-coated fabric into a waterproof bond without stitching, and the technique remains the company's signature construction. The line covers bicycle panniers, handlebar bags, dry bags, backpacks, and travel luggage, all manufactured in Germany. Supreme's collaboration with Ortlieb applies the box logo to its welded panniers and dry bags.
