Supreme x Playboy Crew Jacket
Supreme vs. Original

Supreme version
Original — Playboy
Crew Jacket (Supreme-exclusive)
About the original
Playboy was founded in Chicago in 1953 by Hugh Hefner with an $8,000 stake, and the Rabbit Head logo designed by Art Paul for the second issue has been licensed to apparel partners since the 1970s. Playboy does not operate an in-house apparel line and sells no direct equivalent to this garment. The Supreme SS19 Playboy capsule built a cotton twill bomber with a knit ribbed collar, cuffs, and hem, produced for Supreme and released March 21, 2019 at $238. A line of Rabbit Head silhouettes runs across the front chest, with a co-branded Supreme and Playboy woven label inside the collar. The jacket exists only within this collaboration.
About Playboy
Playboy is an American men's magazine founded in 1953 by Hugh Hefner in Chicago, Illinois, produced from his Hyde Park kitchen with $8,000 in seed capital. The first issue carried no date (Hefner was unsure there would be a second) and led with a Marilyn Monroe centerfold from a previously published calendar shoot. The Rabbit Head logo, designed by art director Art Paul for the second issue, became one of the most-licensed marks of the twentieth century. Playboy paused its print magazine in 2020 and now operates as a licensing business under PLBY Group. Supreme has collaborated with Playboy on Rabbit Head T-shirts, hoodies, and outerwear.
