Supreme x RefrigiWear Beanie
Supreme vs. Original

Supreme version

About the original
RefrigiWear was founded in 1954 in New York City by Myron Breakstone and his brother-in-law Mort Malden to outfit meatpacking and cold-storage workers in the Meatpacking District and at the Fulton Fish Market. Its Iron-Tuff freezer suit, rated to 50 degrees below zero Fahrenheit, was the first mass-produced insulated suit for industrial cold-chain work and remains an industry standard; the company now supplies most of the US cold-logistics sector. The Fat Cap is a four-layer 100-percent acrylic knit beanie built for freezer and jobsite use, with a micro-denier knit that stretches from youth through 2XL. The FW2020 Supreme version swaps RefrigiWear's standard woven patch for a co-branded tag carrying the box logo.
About RefrigiWear
RefrigiWear is an American workwear manufacturer founded in 1954 by Myron Breakstone and his brother-in-law Mort in Manhattan, New York. The company developed the first insulated freezer suit for cold-storage and dairy workers, patenting its Iron-Tuff garment system built around quilted poly shells and proprietary RefrigiFill insulation rated for sub-zero environments. Production moved to Long Island in 1962 and now operates out of Dahlonega, Georgia. The brand outfits NATO contractors and food-industry crews working below freezing. Supreme has collaborated with RefrigiWear on the co-branded Insulated Iron-Tuff Jacket and matching vest in three colorways.
