About the original

The Roland JU-06A is a compact synthesizer module in Roland's Boutique format that recreates both the JUNO-60 and JUNO-106 using Roland's Analog Circuit Behavior (ACB) modeling, with 17 dedicated sliders, a 16-step polyphonic sequencer, an arpeggiator, and chord memory. It offers four-voice polyphony, stereo chorus, and USB MIDI, and runs on four AA batteries or USB power in a pocketable aluminum chassis. Roland was founded in 1972 in Osaka, Japan, and the original JUNO line debuted in 1982, defining the chorus-drenched pads and bass tones of new wave, synth-pop, and early house music. The SS24 Supreme version applies co-branded graphics to the standard JU-06A.

About Roland

Roland Corporation is a Japanese electronic musical instrument manufacturer founded in 1972 by Ikutaro Kakehashi in Osaka. The company produced the TR-808 and TR-909 drum machines, the TB-303 bass synthesizer, and the Jupiter-8 and JUNO-60 polyphonic synthesizers, instruments heard across hip-hop, house, techno, and pop production. Roland also developed the MIDI protocol in 1983 alongside Sequential Circuits. The current product range covers synthesizers, V-Drums electronic kits, digital pianos, and guitar processors. Supreme released a co-branded Roland TR-08 drum machine as part of its FW20 accessories lineup.
