Supreme x Schott NYC Chief Tassel Perfecto
Supreme vs. Original

Supreme version
Original — Schott NYC
613 One Star Perfecto Leather Motorcycle Jacket
About the original
The Schott NYC Chief Tassel Perfecto is a variant of the Schott Perfecto #613 asymmetrical-zip motorcycle jacket, cut from heavyweight U.S.-sourced chrome-tanned steerhide with a nylon-quilted insulated lining, nickel-plated brass hardware, zippered sleeve cuffs, and hand-cut panels pulled from patterns that date to the 1950s One Star. Schott NYC was founded in 1913 in a Lower East Side basement by Irving and Jack Schott, and introduced the Perfecto in 1928 as the first motorcycle jacket with a front zipper. The FW17 Supreme collab adds leather-fringe tassels across the yoke and chest, Native-American-inspired beadwork on the back panel, and a chief-head graphic. Still made in Union, New Jersey.
About Schott NYC
Schott NYC is an American outerwear manufacturer founded in 1913 by brothers Irving and Jack Schott on Manhattan's Lower East Side, originally making fur-lined raincoats sold door-to-door. In 1928 Irving Schott designed the Perfecto, the first leather jacket built with a zipper, selling the original at a Long Island Harley-Davidson distributor for $5.50. The off-center asymmetric zip became the template for the genre, worn by Marlon Brando in The Wild One and later by the Ramones and the Sex Pistols. The Schott family still operates the company from a factory in Union, New Jersey. Supreme has collaborated with Schott NYC on Perfecto jackets, varsity jackets, and N-3B parkas.
