About the original

The Supreme x Schott Shearling Collar Leather Puffy Jacket is a horizontally quilted lambskin down jacket produced in Schott's New Jersey factory. Schott NYC was founded in 1913 and built its reputation on the Perfecto motorcycle jacket introduced in 1928 — heavy leather outerwear is the house specialty. This jacket pairs filled quilted baffles with a quilted satin lining, a shearling collar on a snap band, zip hand pockets at the waist, an interior chest pocket, interior rib cuffs, and a full-zip closure with debossed Supreme chest logo. Released FW21 at $948 in black, light blue, and teal/white. No Schott catalog equivalent — the leather-puffer silhouette was developed for this collab.

About Schott NYC

Schott NYC is an American outerwear manufacturer founded in 1913 by brothers Irving and Jack Schott on Manhattan's Lower East Side, originally making fur-lined raincoats sold door-to-door. In 1928 Irving Schott designed the Perfecto, the first leather jacket built with a zipper, selling the original at a Long Island Harley-Davidson distributor for $5.50. The off-center asymmetric zip became the template for the genre, worn by Marlon Brando in The Wild One and later by the Ramones and the Sex Pistols. The Schott family still operates the company from a factory in Union, New Jersey. Supreme has collaborated with Schott NYC on Perfecto jackets, varsity jackets, and N-3B parkas.
