Supreme vs. Original

Supreme version

About the original
The Silca Elettrico Ultimate Inflator is a rechargeable lithium-battery pump with a digital gauge adjustable from 3 to 100 PSI, auto shutoff, and USB-C charging, weighing 222 grams in an aluminum housing — TSA-compliant for travel. Silca was founded in Milan in 1917 by Felice Sacchi and spent over a century building precision cycling tools trusted by professional mechanics and Tour de France teams; the company relocated its headquarters from Italy to Indianapolis in 2013 under engineer Joshua Poertner. The Elettrico replaces disposable CO2 cartridges with a compact electric motor, continuing Silca's approach of engineering durable, serviceable tools for routine cycling maintenance. The Supreme SS2026 version carries a printed box logo on the barrel.
About Silca
Silca is an Italian-American cycling tool manufacturer founded in 1917 by Felice Sacchi in Milan. The company was the first to fit pressure gauges to bicycle pumps and the first to produce a high-pressure frame pump, and Sacchi's Impero and Pista floor pumps became standard equipment in professional cycling for decades. By 2013, Silca was the oldest continually family-owned company in the bicycle industry. That year Claudio Sacchi, Felice's grandson, sold the company to former Zipp technical director Josh Poertner, who relocated manufacturing to Indianapolis and expanded the range into chain lubes, waxes, and precision tools. Supreme released a co-branded Silca Pista floor pump.
