Spitfire Wheels was founded in 1987 in San Francisco under NHS Fun Factory — the same company that owns Independent Trucks — and the Classic '87 Swirl graphic pulls its swirl pattern from the flame halo around Spitfire's Bighead logo. The T-shirt is cotton with the Bighead swirl printed on the chest and a larger fill version across the back, a standard piece in Spitfire's year-round range. Supreme's SS2018 version swaps the Bighead for a Supreme box logo inside the swirl and retailed for $44 on March 8, 2018.
