Formula Four OG Classic Wheels 99a
About the original
Spitfire's Formula Four OG Classic Wheels are a 99a durometer hard wheel in a retro cutaway shape, built on the Formula Four urethane compound that Spitfire developed for flatspot resistance and lasting slide control. Spitfire was founded in 1987 by Jim Thiebaud in San Francisco and has hand-poured its urethane in the same city ever since, operating under the Deluxe Distribution umbrella alongside Real, Thunder, Venture, Krooked, and Anti Hero. Formula Four launched in 2013 and has since been the preferred spec for professional street and park skaters. The collab version is sold as a four-wheel set with custom branding on the sidewall and retailed below the standard $38 MSRP.
About Spitfire
Spitfire Wheels is an American skateboard wheel manufacturer founded in 1987 in San Francisco by Jim Thiebaud and Tommy Guerrero under the Deluxe Distribution umbrella. The brand's flaming-head logo was drawn by artist Kevin Ancell. Spitfire's Formula Four urethane, released in 2014, became a standard pour for street and park skating, and the brand's Classic and Conical shapes remain catalog staples. Spitfire sits alongside Thrasher, Real, and Anti Hero in the Deluxe family of San Francisco skate labels. Supreme has collaborated with Spitfire on co-branded wheels, apparel, and accessories over many years.
