About the original

Jeff Hamilton is a Los Angeles-based outerwear maker founded by French-born designer Jeff Hamilton, who worked as creative director at Guess before launching his own line in the early 1990s. The brand built its reputation on officially licensed NBA, NFL, MLB and NASCAR racing jackets — leather and twill — worn by athletes and rap artists through the late 1990s and 2000s, defined by applied chenille patches and multi-panel construction. The SS25 Supreme collab is a cotton-twill racing jacket cut by Jeff Hamilton with SpongeBob SquarePants character patches, pink racing stripes, and stacked sponsor-style appliqués, released at $398 in black and white.

About Jeff Hamilton

Jeff Hamilton is an American outerwear designer born in Morocco in 1955 who launched his namesake leather-jacket line from Los Angeles in 1986. After running a Guess menswear license that hit $30 million in sales, Hamilton pivoted to hand-embroidered leather jackets covered in oversized team graphics. He designed Michael Jordan's championship jackets starting in 1985 and produced the commemorative leather jackets given to each of the NBA's 50 Greatest Players at the 1997 All-Star Game. The bodies are American-sewn cowhide with chenille and wool felt appliques. Supreme has collaborated with Jeff Hamilton on co-branded leather jackets featuring the brand's signature appliqued graphics.
