Sweatpant (Supreme exclusive)
About the original
The Supreme/Spyder Sweatpant is a brushed-back fleece sweatpant built by Spyder for the FW24 capsule, with an elastic waistband and interior drawcord, on-seam hand pockets, a single back patch pocket, and elastic-cuffed hems. A large red spider graphic wraps across the right leg and hip — the eight legs splayed down the thigh with the body centered over the knee — and a Spyder wordmark is embroidered at the left hip. Spyder was founded in Boulder, Colorado in 1978 by David Jacobs, initially producing alpine-racing sweaters before expanding into full ski outerwear; the brand has supplied the U.S., Canadian, and Austrian national ski teams and uses the red widow as its house mark. Released November 14, 2024 at $158 retail in black and white; Spyder does not sell a standalone equivalent.
About Spyder
Spyder is an American ski apparel brand founded in 1978 by David Jacobs in Boulder, Colorado, started as a mail-order business out of his kitchen selling racing sweaters to ski-team customers. Jacobs, a former member of the Canadian National Ski Team, named the company after the spider-leg-pattern racing pants his sons wore on the circuit, borrowing the "y" spelling from the Ferrari Spyder. The brand outfitted the U.S. Ski Team from 1989 to 2022 and developed early full-body race speed suits used in World Cup competition. Authentic Brands Group acquired Spyder in 2018. Supreme has collaborated with Spyder on technical ski jackets, bib pants, and base layers.
