About the original
Stone Island was founded in 1982 by Massimo Osti, the Italian garment engineer who built his career on fabric experimentation — including thermosensitive fabric in 1987 and reflective fabric in 1991 — after earlier founding C.P. Company. This cardigan is made from a wool-blend bouclé knit with button-front closure and hand pockets at the lower front. It carries a removable Stone Island badge at the sleeve and an embroidered logo on the back, and was produced exclusively for Supreme's Fall/Winter 2023 collection.
About Stone Island
Stone Island is an Italian sportswear label founded in 1982 by Massimo Osti in Ravarino, near Modena. The brand is known for experimental textile research, including garment-dyed pieces, reflective fabrics, thermosensitive Ice Jackets, and the Tela Stella material developed from truck tarpaulin. Every piece carries the detachable compass-rose badge buttoned to the left sleeve.
