About the original
Stone Island was founded in 1982 by Massimo Osti, the Italian garment engineer who built his career on fabric experimentation, including the heat-reactive Ice Jacket in 1987 and reflective fabric in 1991, after earlier founding C.P. Company in 1975. The brand has been owned by the Moncler Group since 2020 and remains headquartered in Ravarino, near Modena. This cardigan is made from a wool-blend bouclé knit with a button-front closure and welt hand pockets at the lower front. It carries Stone Island's removable compass-rose badge at the left sleeve, secured with two snap buttons, and an embroidered logo on the back. Produced exclusively for Supreme's Fall/Winter 2023 collection.
