Supreme vs. Original

Supreme version
About the original
The Stone Island Painted Camo Nylon Shoulder Bag is made from a fabric treatment in which camouflage patterns are hand-painted onto technical nylon, a method developed through the brand's fabric research program. Stone Island, founded in 1982 by Massimo Osti in Bologna, built its reputation on experimental dyeing and finishing techniques applied to functional outerwear and accessories. Osti previously co-founded C.P. Company and pioneered garment-dyeing in menswear. The bag has a single zipped main compartment, an adjustable webbing strap, and the removable Compass Badge logo patch on the front. The FW20 collab version is available in black, coral, and dark teal.
About Stone Island
Stone Island is an Italian sportswear label founded in 1982 by Massimo Osti in Ravarino, near Modena. The brand is known for experimental textile research, including garment-dyed pieces, reflective fabrics, thermosensitive Ice Jackets, and the Tela Stella material developed from truck tarpaulin. Every piece carries the detachable compass-rose badge buttoned to the left sleeve. Carlo Rivetti's Sportswear Company has operated the brand since 1983, and Moncler Group acquired a controlling stake in 2020. Stone Island has a long association with English football casual and terrace culture alongside its streetwear following. Supreme has collaborated with Stone Island on co-branded outerwear and knitwear.
