The Nuptse Bear Plush
About the original
The North Face Nuptse Bear is an 11-inch plush bear wearing a removable miniature replica of the 700-fill-down Nuptse jacket, originally released by The North Face in 2022 as a limited-edition collectible marking the 30th anniversary of the Nuptse. The Nuptse was designed for high-altitude climbing and first released in 1992, with the baffle geometry named after the 25,801-foot Himalayan peak; it has since become one of TNF's most recognized silhouettes and a standard of 1990s-era streetwear. Supreme's SS24 version prints co-branded Supreme and TNF graphics on the mini jacket and retailed at $158, roughly on par with TNF's standard $160 plush.
About The North Face
The North Face is an American outdoor apparel and equipment company founded in 1966 by Douglas and Susie Tompkins as a mountaineering retail store in San Francisco's North Beach neighborhood. The company introduced the Sierra down parka in 1968 and the geodesic Oval Intention tent in 1975, and its Nuptse down jacket, released in 1992, is named for the 7,861-meter Himalayan peak. The brand now produces the Summit Series, Steep Tech, and Denali fleece lines under VF Corporation ownership. Supreme and The North Face have run one of streetwear's longest ongoing collaborations, releasing seasonal capsules each spring and fall since 2007.
