Supreme vs. Original

Supreme version
Original — Thrasher
Skate Mag Logo Zip Up Hooded Sweatshirt
About the original
The Thrasher Zip-Up Hooded Sweatshirt is a heavyweight cotton-poly fleece full-zip pullover from the magazine's in-line apparel program. Thrasher was founded in San Francisco in 1981 by Eric Swenson, Fausto Vitello, and Kevin Thatcher, and the magazine's flame-script logo became one of the most copied graphics in skateboarding through the 1990s. Thrasher's own zip-ups are produced in standard skateboard-apparel weights with set-in sleeves, ribbed cuffs and hem, and metal zipper hardware. The Supreme FW24 collab applies a large overlapping cross-shaped SUPREME and THRASHER wordmark graphic across the back panel. Garment weight, fit, and hardware match Thrasher's standard zip-up hoodie construction.
About Thrasher
Thrasher is an American skateboarding magazine founded in January 1981 by Eric Swenson and Fausto Vitello in San Francisco, California, originally as a marketing vehicle for Independent Truck Company, which Swenson and Vitello also owned. Kevin Thatcher served as founding editor and ran the magazine for its first two decades. The publication is known for its annual Skater of the Year award, established in 1990, and the flame-logo merchandise that broke into mainstream fashion in the mid-2010s. Thrasher remains independently owned by High Speed Productions. Supreme has collaborated with Thrasher on T-shirts and hoodies built around co-branded flame and box-logo graphics.
