About the original
Timberland was founded in 1952 in Newmarket, New Hampshire by Nathan Swartz as the Abington Shoe Company and began producing waterproof leather boots in 1973; it has built utility workwear alongside its footwear line since the 1980s. The SS2021 collab is a painter pant with a reinforced double-knee front panel, a zip fly, a single coin pocket, side utility pockets, a rear patch pocket, and a hammer loop on the left leg. It released April 15, 2021 at $158 in a 100% cotton 12-ounce denim and a 100% cotton canvas, each offered in black, stone, dusty red, and indigo. Cotton webbing drawcords at the hem allow the pant to be cinched over work boots.
About Timberland
Timberland is an American footwear and apparel company founded in 1952 by Nathan Swartz as the Abington Shoe Company in Abington, Massachusetts, and later headquartered in Stratham, New Hampshire. In 1973 the company introduced the first injection-molded waterproof leather boot, branded as the Timberland, and adopted the name as its own. The wheat-colored 6-Inch Premium became a staple of 1990s hip-hop fashion, construction trades, and New York street dress. The company, now part of VF Corporation, also produces the Earthkeepers and PRO lines. Supreme and Timberland have collaborated on seasonal footwear and outerwear since 2002.
