About the original

The True Utility Telepen is a telescopic stainless-steel ballpoint pen that clips to a keyring. True Utility is a UK-based EDC tool maker founded in 1999; the Telepen (model TU258) is one of its longest-running products. The pen collapses to 50mm (about 2 inches) and extends to 115mm (4.5 inches) for writing, weighs 14 grams, and uses a 5mm slimline body in 420-grade stainless steel with a magnetic cap to keep it secured to the keyring. It ships with three black ink refills. The SS17 Supreme release is the standard Telepen with a red Supreme box logo printed on the barrel — same tooling, same refills as the retail version.
