About the original

The Umbro Cotton Ripstop Track Pant is an all-cotton ripstop trouser with mesh and taffeta lining, produced for Supreme's Fall/Winter 2023 collaboration with the English football kit maker. Umbro was founded in 1924 in Wilmslow, Cheshire, by Harold and Wallace Humphreys, and has outfitted English national teams for more than seven decades, including the 1966 World Cup-winning squad. The pant has on-seam hand pockets, a single back zip pocket, elastic waistband with interior drawcord, and an interior hanging key pocket; the construction is borrowed from Umbro's training-kit archive. Co-branded Umbro diamond and Supreme 'World Famous Team' badges appear at the upper thighs. It released September 21, 2023 at $158, with a matching track jacket priced at $188.

About Umbro

Umbro is an English sportswear manufacturer founded in 1924 by brothers Harold and Wallace Humphreys in Wilmslow, Cheshire, originally trading as Humphreys Brothers Limited from a workshop above the family pub. The name combines "Um" from Humphreys and "bro" from brothers, and the double-diamond logo has identified the brand since the 1930s. Umbro supplied kits to fifteen of the sixteen teams at the 1966 World Cup, including England's championship-winning side, and outfitted Brazil for its first World Cup title in 1958. Nike acquired Umbro in 2008 and sold it to Iconix Brand Group in 2012. Supreme has collaborated with Umbro on football jerseys, track jackets, and shorts.
