About the original

Umbro was founded in 1924 in Wilmslow, England by brothers Harold and Wallace Humphreys, and supplied the England national team kit from 1966 (including the World Cup-winning shirts that summer) through 2013. The Umbro Neo Pro is a size-5 match ball with a 14-panel hand-stitched Teijin microfiber casing, a polyviscose and rubberized foam backing, and a latex bladder; it carries FIFA Quality Pro certification and retails for around $40 through Niky's Sports and Umbro Premier. The SS22 Supreme collab uses the same hand-stitched seam-sealed construction with a printed Supreme logo and the Double Diamond crest, and released July 7, 2022 at $110 in white and red camo.

About Umbro

Umbro is an English sportswear manufacturer founded in 1924 by brothers Harold and Wallace Humphreys in Wilmslow, Cheshire, originally trading as Humphreys Brothers Limited from a workshop above the family pub. The name combines "Um" from Humphreys and "bro" from brothers, and the double-diamond logo has identified the brand since the 1930s. Umbro supplied kits to fifteen of the sixteen teams at the 1966 World Cup, including England's championship-winning side, and outfitted Brazil for its first World Cup title in 1958. Nike acquired Umbro in 2008 and sold it to Iconix Brand Group in 2012. Supreme has collaborated with Umbro on football jerseys, track jackets, and shorts.
