About the original

Umbro is an English sportswear manufacturer founded in 1924 by brothers Harold and Wallace Humphreys in Wilmslow, Cheshire, originally trading as Humphreys Brothers Limited from a workshop above the family pub. The name combines "Um" from Humphreys and "bro" from brothers, and the double-diamond logo has identified the brand since the 1930s.
