Gradient Track Jacket
About the original
Umbro was founded in Wilmslow, England in 1924 by brothers Harold and Wallace Humphreys, who named the company by combining their surname with the suffix 'bro.' The brand outfitted the England national football team from 1966 (the year England won the World Cup) through the early 2010s, and has supplied kits to clubs including Manchester United, Chelsea, and Santos FC. The Supreme FW25 collaboration is a zip-front track jacket with a sublimated gradient colorway and the Umbro Diamond logo at the chest, cut on a relaxed 1990s-era silhouette with side-entry pockets and ribbed hem. The gradient treatment is specific to the Supreme drop; Umbro's standard line sells track jackets in solid and paneled colorways but not this print.
About Umbro
Umbro is an English sportswear manufacturer founded in 1924 by brothers Harold and Wallace Humphreys in Wilmslow, Cheshire, originally trading as Humphreys Brothers Limited from a workshop above the family pub. The name combines "Um" from Humphreys and "bro" from brothers, and the double-diamond logo has identified the brand since the 1930s. Umbro supplied kits to fifteen of the sixteen teams at the 1966 World Cup, including England's championship-winning side, and outfitted Brazil for its first World Cup title in 1958. Nike acquired Umbro in 2008 and sold it to Iconix Brand Group in 2012. Supreme has collaborated with Umbro on football jerseys, track jackets, and shorts.
