About the original

Umbro was founded in 1924 in Wilmslow, Cheshire by brothers Harold and Wallace Humphreys, who began making football kit out of a workshop connected to the family pub. The name is a portmanteau of Humphreys and Brothers, and the double-diamond logo has appeared on English, Brazilian, and Manchester United kits across most of the twentieth century. Umbro has supplied World Cup-winning sides and remains a specialist football outfitter. The Supreme Zip Up Sweater is an all-cotton knit pullover with a half-zip placket, ribbed hem and cuffs, and Supreme and Umbro wordmarks worked into the knit itself rather than applied as patches. It was produced exclusively for Supreme's Spring/Summer 2025 collection and has no standalone Umbro retail equivalent.

About Umbro

Umbro is an English sportswear manufacturer founded in 1924 by brothers Harold and Wallace Humphreys in Wilmslow, Cheshire, originally trading as Humphreys Brothers Limited from a workshop above the family pub. The name combines "Um" from Humphreys and "bro" from brothers, and the double-diamond logo has identified the brand since the 1930s. Umbro supplied kits to fifteen of the sixteen teams at the 1966 World Cup, including England's championship-winning side, and outfitted Brazil for its first World Cup title in 1958. Nike acquired Umbro in 2008 and sold it to Iconix Brand Group in 2012. Supreme has collaborated with Umbro on football jerseys, track jackets, and shorts.
