The Vans Era is the padded-collar skate shoe Vans introduced in 1976 as the #95, designed with team riders Tony Alva and Stacy Peralta to add the cushioning the earlier Authentic lacked. It keeps the canvas-and-suede upper and the vulcanized waffle outsole Vans has produced in Southern California since 1966. This Spring/Summer 2026 pair covers a pre-distressed upper in Mike Kelley's "Memory Ware" artwork — the American artist's dense assemblages of buttons, beads, and found trinkets — across two colorways licensed through the Mike Kelley Foundation. About Vans
