About the original
The Vans Sk8-Hi is the padded high-top Vans introduced in 1978 as the Style 38, adding an ankle collar over the low-cut Old Skool. Vans, founded in Anaheim, California in 1966, built it on a suede-and-canvas upper with the jazz-stripe sidewall and waffle outsole. Supreme's Fall/Winter 2007 'Troops of Tomorrow' collab paired the shoe with NEIGHBORHOOD, the Tokyo label Shinsuke Takizawa founded in 1994, wrapping the Sk8-Hi in an all-over military crest print. The pack ran three shoes in total, two Chukkas alongside this Sk8-Hi. The upper carries the NEIGHBORHOOD graphic; the shoe underneath is the standard Sk8-Hi.
About Vans
