Supreme x Swarovski x Vans Old Skool
Supreme vs. Original

Supreme version

About the original
The Vans Old Skool was introduced in 1977 as Style 36, the first Vans shoe to feature the Sidestripe (originally a doodle by co-founder Paul Van Doren) and the first to combine canvas with suede toe and heel panels. Vans has manufactured skate footwear since 1966 and now operates under VF Corporation. The FW22 Supreme collab replaces the canvas checkerboard side panels with a fabric set with Swarovski crystal-cut beads that read as checkerboard at distance and catch light at angle. Swarovski has cut lead crystal in Wattens, Austria since Daniel Swarovski patented his electric cutting machine in 1892. Released October 20, 2022 in black, brown, red, and purple colorways at $298.
