Toyo Steel is a Japanese metal toolbox manufacturer founded in 1969 and based in Osaka, Japan. The company presses its toolboxes from single sheets of steel, eliminating seams along the body, and finishes them with powder coat in a rotating palette of colors. Its T-190 trunk-shape, Y-350 cantilever, and ST-350 stackable models are designed to nest and lock together. The boxes are sold through hardware dealers in Japan and stationery and design shops abroad, where they are commonly used for art supplies and desk storage. Supreme collaborated with Toyo Steel on co-branded trunk-shape toolboxes.
