Supreme x ANABAS GP-N3S Portable Record Player
Supreme vs. Original

Supreme version

About the original
The ANABAS GP-N3 is a reissue of the Columbia GP-3, a Japanese suitcase-style portable record player originally sold in 1955. ANABAS audio (a brand of Omori Musen Denki, founded 1954) brought the design back in 2019 with a rebuilt two-speed motor, an Audio-Technica AT-3600L cartridge, built-in speaker, and optional AA battery power for around 150 hours of playback. The Supreme GP-N3S adds Bluetooth and printed logos on the case and slipmat; the base GP-N3R is the same chassis without the branding. It plays 33 and 45 RPM records and weighs about 1.3 kg.
About ANABAS
ANABAS is a Japanese audio brand founded in 1996 and based in Tokyo. The company develops, imports, and sells portable record players, hand-crank radios, vacuum cleaners, and outdoor electronics, often built around Showa-era industrial design. Its GP-N3 portable turntable, a two-speed unit with built-in speaker and Bluetooth, is a direct revival of the Nippon Columbia GP-3 originally released in 1980. ANABAS Audio products are made in Japan and sold primarily through domestic retailers and design-leaning specialty stores. Supreme has collaborated with ANABAS on a co-branded GP-N3S portable record player with printed slipmat.
