About the original

The Alpha Industries M-65 Cargo Pant is a modernized civilian take on the U.S. Army M-1965 field trouser that Alpha has been producing under government contract since 1959. Founded that year in Knoxville, Tennessee, Alpha Industries remains one of the last surviving American military outerwear contractors. The M-65 Pant is cut from 100% cotton twill with a button fly, snap-flap slanted hand pockets, large bellows cargo pockets at the thigh, and snap-flap patch pockets at the back. The Supreme SS25 collaboration with Aphex Twin (Richard D. James, the Cornish electronic producer) uses the M-65 block and prints James's trademark grinning-face logo at the hip, released in black, olive, navy, and snow camo.

About Alpha Industries

Alpha Industries is an American outerwear manufacturer founded in 1959 by Samuel Gelber in Knoxville, Tennessee. The company began producing flight jackets under U.S. Department of Defense contracts and was awarded production of the MA-1 nylon bomber in 1963, replacing the leather B-15 as standard issue for U.S. Air Force and Navy pilots. The MA-1 features a reversible nylon shell with rescue-orange lining, knit collar, and utility pocket on the left sleeve. Alpha is now headquartered in Chantilly, Virginia, and still fulfills military contracts alongside its civilian line. Supreme has collaborated with Alpha Industries on MA-1 bombers including the SS22 Second To None jacket and SS26 Playboy MA-1.
