About the original

The Bang & Olufsen Beosound Explore is a 631-gram cylindrical portable Bluetooth speaker (637 grams with the carabiner attached) with two 1.8-inch full-range drivers delivering True360-degree omnidirectional sound, up to 27 hours of playback, Bluetooth 5.2, USB-C charging, and an IP67 dust and water ingress rating that withstands a meter of submersion for thirty minutes. The anodized aluminum body ships with an integrated carabiner and a weather-resistant carry strap. Bang & Olufsen was founded in Struer, Denmark in 1925 by engineers Peter Bang and Svend Olufsen, and the Explore was introduced in May 2021 as the companys first outdoor-rated speaker. The SS22 Supreme version is a red anodized colorway with the Supreme wordmark and B&O logo printed down the grille; it was a Supreme-exclusive finish.
