About the original

The Bang & Olufsen BeoPlay H4 is an over-ear Bluetooth headphone released in 2017 under the B&O PLAY sub-label. Bang & Olufsen was founded in Struer, Denmark in 1925 by Peter Bang and Svend Olufsen and has designed audio equipment for 100 years. The H4 pairs a woven textile headband with leather-wrapped aluminum cups and anodized discs carrying the B&O monogram, runs up to 19 hours on a charge, and uses 40mm drivers tuned for the brand's signature sound. Bluetooth 4.2 with aptX, physical controls on the right cup, and a removable 3.5mm cable. The Supreme SS17 version is the same 1st-generation H4 in black with the box logo on the headband.

About Bang & Olufsen

Bang & Olufsen is a Danish consumer electronics company founded on November 17, 1925 by Peter Bang and Svend Olufsen in Struer, Jutland. The company began in the attic of the Olufsen family manor and shipped its first product, the B&O Eliminator mains-powered radio, in 1927. B&O has built its reputation on aluminum-bodied, designer-led audio products including the Beoplay P2 portable speaker and the IP67-rated Beosound Explore, designed by Cecilie Manz. The company manufactures aluminum components at its own Struer factory. Supreme collaborated with B&O on the Beoplay P2 wireless speaker in 2017 and two iterations of the Beosound Explore in 2022.
