About the original
Premiati Oleifici Barbera is a Sicilian olive oil producer operating in Palermo since 1894, now in its fourth generation of family ownership, producing cold-extracted extra virgin olive oils from Nocellara del Belice, Cerasuola, and Biancolilla olives grown in western Sicily. The mill processes olives within 4 to 8 hours of picking to preserve polyphenol content, and the oil ships to more than 30 countries. Barbera's Sicilia IGP line carries the EU Protected Geographical Indication designation, guaranteeing fruit from the Castelvetrano, Partanna, and Campobello di Mazara valleys. The FW22 collab was a custom-branded tin of Barbera EVOO retailing at $24.
About Barbera 1898
Manfredi Barbera is a Sicilian olive oil producer founded in 1894 in Palermo, Italy, with the 1898 label referencing the house's early export registration. The company has remained family-run across five generations and presses oil from Nocellara del Belice, Cerasuola, and Biancolilla olives grown in western Sicily. Its Frantoia extra virgin blend, introduced in the 1980s, is cold-extracted and unfiltered, and is one of the most widely exported Sicilian oils. Barbera also produces the Lorenzo No.1, No.3, and No.5 single-varietal oils. Supreme's collaboration featured a co-labeled tin of the Frantoia blend.
