Supreme x b.b. Simon Bandana Belt
Supreme vs. Original

Supreme version

Original — b.b. Simon
Swarovski Crystal Belt
About the original
The b.b. Simon crystal belt is handmade in the USA from Italian leather, hand-set with individually placed Swarovski crystals. Simon Tavassoli founded b.b. Simon in 1987 in Los Angeles, initially designing women's belts and handbags before introducing the crystal-studded belt in the early 2000s. After Madonna wore one in her 2001 'Don't Tell Me' music video, the belts became signature pieces across hip-hop styling; at the label's late-2000s peak, b.b. Simon was producing roughly 15,000 belts a month. The Supreme SS2026 collab prints a bandana paisley pattern onto the leather base and keeps the crystal-studded center band — a departure from the brand's standard solid-leather construction.
About b.b. Simon
b.b. Simon is an American accessories brand founded in 1987 by Simon Tavassoli in Los Angeles. The name is an abbreviation of Belts By Simon. The brand introduced its Swarovski crystal-studded leather belts in the early 2000s, and the design became a fixture of hip-hop style, worn by Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, and Birdman. Each belt is assembled at the company's Irvine, California factory using Italian leather, large metal buckles sourced from Taiwan, and Austrian Swarovski crystals set by hand. The brand has since expanded into licensed belts for Disney, Warner Bros., and Marvel properties. Supreme collaborated with b.b. Simon on crystal-studded Box Logo belts.
