About the original

The folder opens via ambidextrous thumb stud and locks open and closed using Benchmade's patented AXIS Lock, a crossbar mechanism driven by two omega springs. Benchmade has manufactured knives in Oregon City, Oregon since 1988 and built the Bugout around weight-critical backcountry use. The SS22 collab version carries Supreme's logo on the blade in red and black colorways, retailing at $298 against a $180 standard MSRP.
About Benchmade
Benchmade Knife Company is an American knife manufacturer founded in 1988 by Les de Asis in California and now headquartered in Oregon City, Oregon. The company holds the patent on the AXIS lock, a spring-loaded bar mechanism introduced in 1998 and used across most of its folding knives. Its current catalog includes the Bugout, Griptilian, Mini Griptilian, Bailout, and Adamas lines, produced in CPM-S30V, CPM-S45VN, and Magnacut steels. Benchmade also operates a LifeSharp service that resharpens and reconditions its knives for the life of the owner. Supreme's collaboration produced a co-branded folding knife.
