The Benchmade Bugout 535 is an ultralight everyday carry knife weighing 1.85 ounces, with a 3.24-inch CPM-S30V stainless steel drop-point blade, a 7.46-inch overall length, and Grivory handle scales. The folder opens via ambidextrous thumb stud and locks open and closed using Benchmade's patented AXIS Lock, a crossbar mechanism driven by two omega springs. Benchmade has manufactured knives in Oregon City, Oregon since 1988 and built the Bugout around weight-critical backcountry use.
