Daiwa Corporation was founded in 1958 in Tokyo and is one of the world's largest manufacturers of fishing tackle. The DV1 is a telescoping spinning combo: 8'6" rod collapses to 26" for transit, paired with a purpose-built 3000-size spinning reel with pre-spooled 10 lb monofilament. The bundle ships in a fitted travel case. The SS2023 Supreme version is the standard white DV1 combo with a Supreme logo on the reel cover; released May 4, 2023 at $398.
