Supreme x Dualit 4-Slice Toaster
Supreme vs. Original

Original — Dualit
4 Slice NewGen Classic Toaster
About the original
The Dualit 4 Slice NewGen Classic Toaster has been hand-assembled at Dualit's factory in Crawley, West Sussex since 1946, when commercial caterer Max Gort-Barten patented the timer-activated pop-up mechanism that still defines the line. The unit has replaceable ProHeat elements, a polished stainless steel body on a die-cast aluminum end plate, and a mechanical selector that lets the operator toast two, three, or four slots independently. Bread must be ejected manually by lever rather than popping automatically — a design choice that keeps toast warm in the slot. Every component can be serviced and replaced. The SS2026 Supreme collab adds box logo branding to the body.
About Dualit
Dualit is a British kitchen appliance manufacturer founded in 1945 by German-born inventor Max Gort-Barten in Camberwell, London. The company's name derives from Gort-Barten's Dual Light heater, and its reputation was built on the Classic toaster, whose flip-sided mechanism was patented in 1946 and whose commercial six-slot version with a mechanical timer launched in 1952. Dualit toasters are hand-assembled with user-replaceable ProHeat elements and have appeared in cafes and hotels for decades. The company now produces kettles, espresso machines, and blenders. Supreme's collaboration placed its logo on a four-slot Classic toaster.
