Supreme x Duralex Glasses (Set of 4)
Supreme vs. Original

About the original
The Duralex Picardie is an 8.75 oz. tempered glass tumbler with a ten-facet body and rolled rim, stackable and offered in graduated sizes that share the same silhouette. Duralex invented the tempering process for tableware and produces Picardie glass that is 2.5 times stronger than ordinary glass, shatter- and chip-resistant, and rated for dishwasher, microwave, and freezer use. The company has manufactured the Picardie in La Chapelle-Saint-Mesmin, France, since 1945, and the tumbler remains a fixture of French bistros, cafés, and school cafeterias. The SS2017 Supreme collab adds an etched Supreme logo to a set of four glasses that retail for $28.
About Duralex
Duralex is a French tempered glassware manufacturer founded in 1945 in La Chapelle-Saint-Mesmin, near Orleans, as part of the Saint-Gobain group. The company commercialized tempered soda-lime glass tableware and released its first product, the stackable Gigogne tumbler, in 1946. The Picardie, introduced in 1954, became its signature design and a standard in French school canteens, bistros, and cafeterias. The glass resists thermal shock up to 130 degrees Celsius and shatters into small blunt fragments rather than shards. Supreme's collaboration applied its logo to a set of Picardie tumblers produced in France.
