About the original
The DYE MXR is an aerospace-grade aluminum paintball marker introduced in 2024, built around DYE's ARC-X bolt system with a Flex Face bolt tip for handling fragile tournament paint, and rated for more than 2,000 shots from a full 68-cubic-inch, 4,500 psi air tank. DYE Precision was founded in 1994 by Dave DeHaan, who started out machining paintball barrels in his garage; the company is now based in San Diego and makes markers, loaders, goggles and team apparel. The Rotor R2 is DYE's force-fed electronic loader, with an adjustable-capacity shell and a rapid-release lid. Supreme's FW26 set pairs a red MXR, laser-etched with Supreme logos, with a matching red R2. The comparison here is the MXR alone; Supreme's set adds an R2, which DYE offers separately at $179.95.
