Puffy Jacket (Supreme collaboration)
About the original
The Supreme x Fox Racing Puffy Jacket is a quilted insulated jacket in water-resistant Supplex nylon taslan with taffeta lining and synthetic fill, released for Fall/Winter 2020 at a $248 retail. Fox Racing was founded in 1974 by Geoff Fox in Morgan Hill, California, and has supplied helmets, boots, and protective gear to professional motocross riders for over fifty years. The jacket carries Fox's FoxHead mark embroidered at the chest alongside motocross-pattern Supreme sleeve graphics, in a silhouette closer to Fox's race paddock outerwear than standard Supreme puffies. This collaboration piece was not sold through Fox Racing's own catalog. Fox Racing's core line leans toward technical riding jackets like the Legion, built in Cordura with removable sleeves for off-road use.
About Fox Racing
Fox Racing is an American motocross apparel and protective equipment company founded in 1974 by Geoff Fox in Campbell, California, and now headquartered in Irvine. The company began importing European motocross parts before launching its own riding gear, sponsoring riders including Bob Hannah, Mark Barnett, and Ricky Carmichael as the sport grew through the late 1970s and 1980s. Fox produces helmets, boots, gloves, jerseys, pants, and body armor for professional motocross and mountain bike athletes, and its V-series helmets and 360 race pants are standard issue across AMA Supercross and Pro Motocross paddocks. Fox was acquired by Vista Outdoor in 2022. Supreme has collaborated with Fox Racing on co-branded moto jerseys, jackets, and protective gear.
