About the original
The Freund Victoria Forged Hedge Shears are a traditional two-handed garden shear with drop-forged, hard-chrome-plated, self-sharpening beveled blades, a heavy-duty brass-bushed pivot bolt, and solid hardwood handles mounted on forged steel sockets. The blade geometry pulls material toward the pivot for clean cuts on branches up to roughly 20mm thick. Freund Victoria has manufactured garden and agricultural hand tools in Württemberg, Germany since 1860, and the forged hedge shear is the company's oldest and signature product line. The SS24 Supreme version is made in Germany, measures 15.4 inches, and carries a foil-stamped Supreme logo on the red-painted wooden handles. It released February 15, 2024 at $110.
