About the original
Hardcore Hammers builds American-made framing and finish hammers with milled "waffle" faces that bite framing nails without glancing off. The one Supreme released for FW12 was the original Hardcore Hammer — a 19-ounce steel head on a hickory handle, forged and assembled in the USA. That model has since been superseded by the Hardcore Hammer 2.0, a recessed-wafflehead version the company sells today for $79; it's the closest current equivalent to the Supreme drop. Supreme's contribution was cosmetic — a red-dipped hickory handle printed with its name — on a working tool a carpenter would actually swing. The steel, the face pattern, and the balance are the reason to own it; the box logo isn't.
